In the production of the oil field united station, it is required a certain temperature in the settling seperation and transportation of the crude oil, which is achieved mostly by oil or gas furnances at present. However, these methods of energy utilization not only have a low thermal efficiency but also raise the consumption of fossil fuels. On the other hand, the oil field united station contains rich resources of waste heat every day such as a large number of stable sewage with the temperature reaching 55 ℃. Against this background, using a direct-fired absorption heat pump device to replace the original gas furnance systems for the crude oil heating had been put forward in this paper. The heat pump system, which uses "lithium bromide-water" as working pair, can take advantage of the natural gas associated with crude oil production as the compensation of thermal energy and use the waste water of constant temperature all year round as low-temperature heat source. In this way, we can achieve the desired effect of heating crude oil to the certain temperature. The heating method can not only reduce the production costs of crude oil but also save natural gas energy and reduce waste emissions so as to protect the environment. After discussing the feasibility of using direct-fired absorption heat pump system to replace original furnace systems in the oil field united station firstly, the paper chooses the equipments for the transformation of the systems. The lithium bromide absorption heat pump system, built by ASPEN HYSYS software, is applied for the process of crude oil heating in this paper. According to the analysis of simulation results, the heat pump has a better coefficient of performance with expected value of 1.65 for the COP, which saves 39.4% of energy consumption when compared with the original systems. Finally, the thesis makes an economic analysis for the heat pump system with simple static economic evaluation method and simple dynamic economic evaluation method respectively. And it can be seen that the former evaluation method finds out that the heat pump investment recovery period is 2.3 years and the latter provides scientific computational basis for the practical application of heat pump system in the oild field. In conclusion, under the current background of energy crisis, the system is suitable for popularization and application in oil fields due to its huge economic benefits and environmental benefits.
