Dechlorane plus (DP), as the highly chlorinated flame retardant, is widely used in all kinds of products, such as plastic, furniture, TV, computer, and cable. DP was detected in the various environment medias (air, soil, sediment, living organism and so on), in addition, DP has persistence, bioaccumulation which are the characteristics of persistent organic pollutants (pops), so the study of the environmental behavior of DP is becoming more and more attention, the research content mainly covers the environmental level, concentrations of organisms, the migration behavior, etc., however, the study of the degradation of DP is very limited. For more comprehensive evaluation environmental behaviors of DP, this paper studied dissipation and degradation of the aging and fresh DP both in inside and outside the greenhouse agricultural soil. Here are the main research conclusions:(1)The range of dissipation half-life of fresh syn-DP and anti-DP in open field are 73-77d and 69-73d; greenhouse:81-83and 82-89d; aging syn-DP and anti-DP in open field:93-94d and 80-88d; greenhouse:102d and 98-105d. The dissipation half-life of syn-DP and anti-DP in greenhouse are longer than open field; the dissipation half-life of fresh syn-DP and anti-DP are shorter than aging syn-DP and anti-DP. The dissipation half-life of syn-DP (130-136d) and anti-DP (134-138d) which are segregated are also longer than that without segregated, and they are lower 0.0042 and 0.0047ng/(g·d). The results show that the eluviation has important influence on the dissipation of DP in soils.(2) In order to study the degradation pathway of DP in soils, this paper analysises existing characteristics of anti-Cl11-DP, anti-Cl10-DP and DPMA. The dechlorination product of fresh DP in soils is DPMA; The dechlorination products of aging DP in soils are anti-Cl11-DP, anti-Cl10-DP and DPMA.
