In pesticide production, filler is an indispensable component of solid pesticide preparation. The choice of filler affects the quality of the whole preparation product. It has certain guiding significance to the development and application of the relevant properties of common preparation and performance research of the filler in pesticide formulations. This paper selected seven kinds of common formulation fillers(including diatomite, sepiolite, kaolinite, silica, talcum powder, corn starch, montmorillonite etc.) as the research object. The research mainly includes the following aspects:Systematic analysis of the physicochemical properties of seven kinds of fillers was researched by us. The surface properties of seven kinds of common pesticide preparations fillers, including the specific surface area, bore diameter and pore volume, were investigated by BET specific surface area analyzer; Analysis of FTIR spectra of seven kinds of fillers by infrared spectrometer; The crystalline structure of seven kinds of formulations of filler was determined by X-ray diffraction. We researched and analyzed the suspension performance about the matching of fillers and the adsorption capacity of dispersant on different fillers. We selected four kinds of dispersants(SD-816, 2700, NNO, D425) to study the suspension performance about the matching of seven kinds of fillers. And from the experimental results,The dispersed suspension ability of four kinds of dispersants match with diatomite, cornstarch and talcum powder were better than others, Four kinds of dispersants disperse suspension of silica and montmorillonite ability is poor, so silica and montmorillonite is not suitable as a larger proportion of the preparations filler. The adsorption capacities of dispersant on different fillers with four kinds of dispersants were investigated by the ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy. The adsorption capacity of four kinds of dispersants on montmorillonite was the biggest. The adsorption capacity of four kinds of dispersants on corn starch was the smallest. The adsorption kinetics behavior about the tebuconazole adsorbed on different fillers was researched. We selected the tebuconazole solution as adsorbent, the adsorption kinetic behavior about the tebuconazole adsorbed on different fillers were investigated by HPLC. And we choose three kinds of fitting equation models to fit. The First-order equation was the best fitting model of the adsorption kinetics researching about the tebuconazole adsorbed on the different fillers. From the results of the experiment, we knew that the adsorption amount of tebuconazole on montmorillonite was maximum, reached 4.28mg/kg, kaolinite was minimum about 2.79mg/kg. The adsorption rate of tebuconazole on montmorillonite was fastest, and the corn starch was slowest. We compared the effects of seven fillers in the formulation of WDG. firstly, we determined the dispersant and wetting agent, then 80% dimethomorph WDG formulations were prepared by using seven kinds of fillers. We analyzed the physical suspension, dispersion property, wettability. The physical suspension ratiochoice of the WDG which choose the corn starch reached 96.2%, the dispersion properties are also best, wettability is better than others. So the Corn starch was the best selection of filler about the 80% dimethomorph WDG formula. The effect of increasing viscosity of seven kinds of fillers in pesticide Suspension concentrates was also studied. We used 25% tebuconazole suspension concentrate as the research object, choose SD-815 matched with SD-206 as the dispersant, added different fillers to prepare suspension concentrates, then tested the viscosity of the Suspension concentrate by using the Anton Paar rheometer. Silica and montmorillonite had obvious thickening effect on 25% tebuconazole aqueous suspension concentrate.
