Polypropylene is a kind of impact resistance, good toughness, semi crystalline corrosion resistant plastic, all kinds of application of its products in the field of human activity. Now, our country has become the world’s second largest economic entity, although the polypropylene production is more and more big, but demand is also increasing. In order to have a space in each PP manufacturers, in the international market research staff founded the new technology in new product synthesis at the same time, but also control the cost in quality, and constantly improve the product, optimize the production process, the production process and process management more scientific.Detection method of quality is closely related to polypropylene control level, must take the advanced automatic control system to accurately polypropylene production process, strict control of complex process. At present industrial polypropylene unit of DCS automatic control system of reaction mass monitoring through the analysis of the whole unit of intelligent instrument information feedback to control the reaction process. DCS control system hardware, software configuration and control scheme is the key to realize the automatic control.The main work is as follows:1. To investigate the characteristics of polypropylene and polypropylene reaction process plant process equipment, analysis the reaction mechanism, reaction kinetics of polypropylene polymerization reaction, catalytic, and the properties of the polypropylene unit, key equipment, and provide a theoretical basis for the design of DCS;2. The design of loop reactor control system, gives the polypropylene process temperature, steam pressure control method and control scheme of compensation;3. Application of Henghe CS3000 control system in polypropylene unit, realize the loop reactor of propylene and hydrogen control, steam flow compensation, catalyst, additives and olefin ratio control, the logic of the system, control scheme;4. With MODBUS as the master station system of Henghe CS3000 network protocol, establish a communication link with the SIEMENS S7-414H PLC, realize the safety interlock function of polypropylene plant.
