Underground pipeline leakage is accident-prone in the oil industry. The environment around the leakage site suffers a lot from a variety of toxic substances contained by contaminants, which is difficult to degrade in the natural environment. In conclusion, research on pollutants migration and residual of underground pipeline leakage is important for pollutant detection and local environmental restoration. This paper will explore the range and distribution of the leaking pollutants in soil type porous media and analyze the influence factor of its migration by migration and residual contaminant of underground oil pipeling leakage experiments. We can provide the basis data of underground oil pipeline leakage for the numerical simulation, and also for optical and infrared detection methods, contaminants migration control and contaminated soil repair.To study the migration and residual contaminant of underground oil pipeling leakage, we design and build a visual porous medium experimental apparatus, which includes five components:(1) Supplying and heating systems;(2) Visual experiments box;(3) Pollutant diffusion range acquisition device;(4) The amount of leakage stabilizer;(5) Temperature and humidity acquisition system. And migration and residual contaminant of underground oil pipeling leakage experiment platforms, including five components:(1) High flow hydraulic supply and heating system,(2) Environmental Simulation leakage multilayer box,(3) Temperature and humidity data acquisition system,(4) Pipeline stabilization system(5) Permafrost environment simulation system. They can achieve stable supply of liquid, liquid temperature control, temperature and humidity measurements, leakage migration process visualization, high flow hydraulic supply and environment simulation.We use experimental apparatus to see diffusion of pollutants migration conducted under different size, compare the effects of particle size, temperature and type of fluid to its diffusion, and analyze the law of their migration and residual. We use migration and residual contaminant of underground oil pipeling leakage experiment platforms migration to analyse the effects of the type of fluid, the amount of leakage and leakage Porous Media on migration and residual contaminants.Through this study, we establish migration and residual contaminant of underground oil pipeling leakage experimental apparatus, access to the basic laws of leakage of contaminants migration in porous media under different conditions, which lays the foundation for the further study and provide a reference for the relevant technical engineering design and analysis.
