Polyethylene production largely reflects the technical strength and management level of a country’s petrochemical industry. It is important for the economy of a country, national defense, science and health and daily lives of the people. Silica gel is the main catalyst support material polyolefins and play an very prominent role in the preparation of the catalyst and the polyolefin synthesis. The metallocene catalyst supported on silica shows a high activity and has many advantages in the industrial production, so the study of 4, supported metallocene catalyst has a good prospect.In this paper, two different carriers were used to load the dichloro zirconocenes and metallocene catalyst is obtained in different conditions and different carrier loads.We use the spectrophotometer, atomic absorption, SEM, BET and other methods to examine the central metal of metallocene catalyst elements in different load carrier、the morphology of polymer carrier 、 specific surface area 、 pore volume and the microstructure. Then we investigated the effects of silica gel temperature on he catalyst activity and Al / Zr. We also investigated the aggregation properties of the catalyst using SiO2-MgCl2 xerogel as the carrier and the effect of Mg / Si on the activity of the catalyst. We found that the activity of the catalyst loaded on silica gel using indirect heating way to get is significantly better than the activity of the catalyst loaded on silica gel using direct heating way to get. Determine the optimal use of silica gel as a carrier pretreatment temperature of 70 ℃, the optimum temperature is30 ℃ when the polymerization activity was the highest 1325 gPE / g cat, also studied the amount of triethylaluminum of the entire catalyst system impact test showed accession 1mL triethylaluminum activity of the entire catalyst system up to 1433 gPE/ g cat, was added an excess of the catalyst activity will decrease. This experiment also synthesized metallocene catalyst using SiO2-MgCl2 xerogel as the carrier, which is found that its specific surface area and polymer morphology are better than that using silica gel as the carrier and the polymerization activity was as high as 3163 gPE/ g cat.
