On the choice of transport of oil, usually choose maritime transport which has the features of low-cost, high-volume, long-distance. As a hub of waterway transportation, handling pipeline configuration in port will directly affect the handling and service level, thereby affecting the oil transportation. Therefore, a scientific and rational planning of the port’s handling pipeline configuration particularly important.From the perspective of the entire port system, the paper researches handling pipeline configuration in refined oil and liquid chemicals port, based on simulation of berthing and scheduling. The paper proposes the forming method and process of s handling pipeline configuration, through the analysis of main factors, following the principles of the formation. Then the paper builds the simulation model of port berthing, scheduling and handling based on handling pipeline configuration, through the analysis of handling process and building process of simulation model. Afterward, compare and select the handling pipeline configuration with indicators of level of port services, handling plumbing costs, berth utilization. And the paper makes simulation research on a specific example. Finally, the paper gets the relationship between the level of port service and plumbing costs through the analysis of simulation results and makes a comparison among the handling pipeline configurations.The paper researches handling pipeline configuration in refined oil and liquid chemicals port, based on simulation of berthing and scheduling.
