In recent years, supramolecular chemistry has already become into a large branch of chemistry subject, and it has attracted the attention of scientists all over the world. With the development of science and technology, it involves more and more field. It is the cross discipline of chemistry, biology, material, information and the other fields, and also one of the power for the development of science and technology. As an important part of supramolecular chemistry, macrocyclic compounds got a lot of attention from researchers that related, and it has become a hot research topic of supramolecular chemistry. More and more chemists focused on the design and synthesis of novel macrocyclic compounds,and it is already become an important topic of the supramolecular chemistry and organic chemistry. Thus, with the expansion of human’s living environment and the progressive way of life, molecular recognition is also more and more necessary for human beings.Macrocyclic compounds is a kind of important compounds in molecular recognition receptors, and playing an important role in the field of molecular recognition.The work of this thesisis based on Schiff base macrocycles as a basic structure,the acylhydrazone unit and thiosemicarbazide unit were introduced into macrocyclic compoundsrespectively,their structures were characterized by IR,1H NMRand ESI/MS techniques, and their recognition performance on metal ion and anion was studied by UV-Vis absorption spectrum.This thesis was divided into three parts:In the first part, the concept and the development about supramolecular chemistry, molecular recognition and macrocyclic compounds were generalized and summarized. In the second part, a kind of Schiff base macrocycles recognition cationicreceptor were synthesized successfully by high dilution method which is a simple methods of macrocyclic compounds, and their structures were characterized briefly, the target macrocyclic compounds ion recognition performance was studied by UV-Vis absorption spectrum.In the third part, a kind of Schiff base macrocycles recognition anion receptors which containing acylhydrazone unit and thiosemicarbazide unit were synthesized by high dilution method, and their structures were characterized briefly, the target macrocyclic compounds anion recognition performance was studied by UV-Vis absorption spectrum. The experimental result shows that the twokinds of macrocycles receptor have recognizitioneffect on some cation and anionic.This was found through experiment, when the structure, configuration and coordination capabilities of Schiff base macrocycles compounds matching with receptor, it will show better recognition effect to the subject. So the recognition effect of Schiff base macrocycles compounds is closely related with their own spatial configuration and coordination capabilities.
