This topic mainly discussed EPDM which has excellent aging resistant performance and NR which has good physical mechanical properties as the base material blends and the compatibility of the two.Firstly,the effection of different proportion on the properties of the rubbers vulcanizates were studied on this paper.Through blended modification,tried different blending process,changed the coordinate system.prepared compatibilizers by dynamic vulcanizate method to study the compatibility of the two.Integrated all aspects advantages of the two rubbers, to prepar materials which has aging resistance, excellent mechanical properties.The research showed that the compatibility of NR/EPDM was poor,this subject adopted the heat treatment method,added carbon nanotubes material,orthogonal experimental design could not change the compatibility of the NR/EPDM blends.Long heat treatment time could make NR had macromolecular crack,resulting in a decline of mechanical properties, but short processing time could make rubbers had poor blending modification. Carbon nanotube used in the blends was unable to improve the compatibility of the two ingredients.Adding different amount of reinforcing agent,softener,sulfur carrier promoting agent could not improve the compatibility of the two ingredients.Dynamic vulcanization method for preparation of thermoplasticelastomer compatibilizing agent could improve the compatibility of NR and EPDM effectively, through the establishment of a complex interpenetrating crosslinked network could make the mechanical properties of blending adhesive increased,and could obtain excellent heat-resisting air aging and ozone aging resistance properties, by changing the dosage of vulcanizing agent,rotational speed, temperature and other methods studied the preparation process of compatibilizers,could determine the best formula and technology of the elastomer compatibilizers performance conditions.By changing the dosage of the compatibilizers, discussed the mechanical properties,microstructure,heat resistance and dynamic performance.With the dosage of elastomer compatibilizers increase, tensile properties of NR/EPDM blends adhesive,tearing performance, hardness had a rising trend, while tensile elongation had no obvious changes; Added 20 phr in NR/EPDM could obtain higher mechanical properties and good air ozone aging resistance performance.Orthogonal experimental design method was used to study the influence factors of the blends,changed the kinds and amounts of promoter, added different amount of white carbon black and oil, could improve the delay vulcanizate phenomenon effectively,and reduced the hardness of the rubber. The rubber’ comprehensive properties of this topic researched which had strong interpenetrating crosslinked network through polymethyl acrylic acid zinc and ethylene octane elastomer,natural rubber, ethylene propylene rubber formed was superior than the tire’s white sidewall of samples.The formula of the preparation of the blends could be used in the white tire sides, light colored rubber products.It had the important meaning for making safety, environment protection and excellent properties of modified material.
