Safety Evaluation For Workover Rig System

The workover rig system is a set of downhole service equipments usually used in oil exploration and development. Doing safety evaluation fully and scientifically, analyzing the failure causes, finding weaknesses and preventing in production, those all have important practical implications.This paper analyzes some common methods of safety evaluation, describes their application, advantages and disadvantages.This paper does a fuzzy comprehensive assessment to estimate the quality of workover rig system. By analyzing and researching on the scene, the author establishes an index system of the safety evaluation for the workover rig system. This paper gains the weight of each factor by consulting experts and literature. The author forms a group including experts on equipment, safety and operation. Based on classified grade, this paper marks every parts of the workover rig system and establishes the mathematical model of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.This paper tests the load capacity of active workover rig derrick.Linking theory with practice, this paper checks an active workover rig system by safety checklist and does comprehensive safety evaluation to the rig.
