As the world economy is increasingly globalized, the ecological problems havebeen gradually worsening, which has aroused wide concern in many countries. All ofthem are seeking the path to solve these ecological problems. However, it is still aworldwide problem due to its complexity. This thesis, by introducing the academicsignificance of the Marxist theory on the relationship between human and nature,clarifies the fundamental contents of this theory and hereby discusses the essence andsocial conditions of the modern ecological problems. The study shows that ecologicalproblems are not only connected with the relationship between human and nature. Tosolve the social problems is the premise of solving ecological problems. The thesisfinally demonstrates the value of the theory in guiding ecological civilizationconstruction, and points out that the key issue is to coordinate the social conflicts ofinterest.This thesis is composed of the introduction part and three chapters.The introduction part includes the rationale of the research, research status at inChina and other countries, methods, innovative places and limitations.Chapter one outlines the practical significance of the Marxist theory on therelationship between human and nature, its basic contents and value orientation.Chapter two analyzes the nature and social conditions of modern ecologicalproblems, and concludes that solving social conflicts is the key to settle ecologicalproblems.Chapter three sets forth the value of the Marxist theory on the relationshipbetween human and nature in guiding ecological civilization construction.
