In our country, more than80%crude oil is high waxy crude oil with high pour point, which should be modified in the mining and transportation prosess. Because of its low energy consumption, pollution-free, easy operation and less cost, the method of adding depressant into the waxy crude oil is becoming the most effective modification method and has been widely used.In this paper, three kinds of waxy crude oils samples from J oil field have been selected as the study objection. Regarded pour point temperature and viscosity of waxy crude oil as indexes to select and combine the optimal pour point depressant. Pour point depressant E-1has been selected as the optimal pour point depressant for the three oil samples. The optimal heat processing temperatures are55℃,60℃,55℃and the optimal concentration of pour point depressant is200mg/kg. If those conditions can be satisfied, the three kinds of crude oils of J oil field will have better low temperature flow properties with lower pour point temperature and viscosity. Subsequently, influencing factors which impact on the affect and stability of the pour point depressant E-1are analyzed through experiments.However, the filed application and laboratory experiments show that shear history of waxy oil can seriously affect the effect of the pour point depressant. Therefore experimental researches on the shearing temperature, shearing time, shearing rate have been carried out in the laboratory and results indicate that when shearing time is the same, the shearing effect is determined by shearing rate and shearing time. Through derivation the viscous flow of entropy generation is the integrated function of shearing rate and shearing time. It has been proved by theory and experiments that the viscous flow of entropy generation can be used as shearing analog during the shearing experiments. Combining the pour point of experiencing shearmodified oil samples of J oil field, the pour point forecasting model of the three kinds of oil samples of J oil field has been established and the difference between the calculation value by this forecasting model and the experimental value is about0.543℃.
