China is a country rich in mineral resources, the exploitation of mineral resources in bring good economic benefits to people at the same time, also bring many negative problems. The Settlement of mined-out area is one of the most important one. Traditional monitoring method for the settlement of mined-out area mostly adopts the leveling and GPS technology. The two methods can only be one point ground to monitoring of mined-out area, workload greatly. This paper adopts a new method——differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar technology monitoring the mined-out area of subsidence. The method can carry on the monitor from the surface domain of subsidence area, and for the subsidence trend monitoring has a good effect. This paper mainly introduces the principle of differential synthetic aperture radar interferometry, the differential interference processing steps; Put forward a new method for coarse baseline estimation and introduces the theory of the advanced small baseline set technology. At last, using four German scene TerraSAR-X spotlight mode1m resolution radar images processed by the technology of differential interferometric synthetic aperture radar; Generated the study area1.5meters resolution DEM products, at the same time obtained the study area subsidence figures from December13,2012to January15,2013, through the figures, we founded the deformation trend of the study area and founded the subsidence funnel caused by mining.
