| People care about the importance of coal, at the same time they are beginning to care about security problems caused by mining, not only mining damage to the environment, the goaf settlement deformation but also on a grave threat to people and property. Study of goaf settlement rules, directly affects the accuracy and safety of the disaster prevention engineering. At present, mining is completed the first group of5group design in coal seams, namely M3, M4, M4+1, M5four layers of coal seam, mining elevation is+1710m-1800m.This paper relies on the Heichong coal mine in Fuyuan County of Qujing city in Yunnan province. This coal mine located in the mountainous area, lush vegetation, groundwater rich deposit. Because of geological structure, the dip of coal seam is ranging from25°-45°. The research of goaf elevation is+1600m to the ground, the study area is approximately rectangular, area of400m×300m.Through the site investigation and settlement monitoring method, using probability integral method and FLAC3D software numerical methods of goaf subsidence regularity study, on the basis of the numerical simulation of the existing settlement rules, for the future with the mined area expanding forecast law settlement conditions, and draw out moving cloud, based on a comprehensive analysis of the settlement on the proposed settlement, prevention and management of relevant measures. Conclusions are as follows:①Heichong coal mine was affected by the tectonic activities, dip angle of coal seam is big, gob silty rock integrity is better, higher strength and RQD, goaf possibility to form local collapse is small, but the possibility of subsidence of mining conditions is large, overall of mining is relatively simple.②Higher initial groundwater level in study area, but the coal seam and surrounding rock containing silty water is not, at the beginning of exploitation, goaf subsidence but also by the groundwater drainage stack effect, when the underground water level down to the surface beneath, gob settlement by the groundwater drainage stack effect weakening. For the two case, the settlement is studied by using numerical simulation method. The comparison of the numerical results with the monitoring data, the results and monitoring results compared with small error, high reliability simulation model.③The settlement prediction based on the analysis, determined the concentration area of ground displacement, and the reasons for the formation of. Through the analysis of different coal seams and discussion, summed up the inclination and thickness on the influence of the maximum subsidence, prediction of future changes in the possibility of each seam the ground displacement after mining.
