Count for the problems of the management system in security and the problems of power supply in wild, a passive lock system is designed based on PIC micro-power microcontroller. Passive lock system mainly includes three parts:passive lock, electronic key, central management system platform. It integrates the function of the ordinary mechanical locks and the electronic locks. It uses the central management system platform to make the lock management intelligent.It is characterized by the powerless lock which fixed on the box and access.System is powered by the armed movable parts-electronic key which integrated high-capacity rechargeable lithium battery. Electronic key powering can solve the problem of powered inconvenient in the wild and could lift the traditional electronic key system dependent on electricity supply. It could broaden the scope of application of electronic key so that we call the entire system passive lock system.This paper introduces the principles of the hardware and software in the passive lock system. Electronic key is easy to carry and charge for its light weight and small size familiar with the traditional key. Passive lock and electronic key both have the ability to record events. The management platform can set passive lock and electronic key stably for the authorization settings and database management. Companies can use it to establish a system that achieve actual requirements of the personnel management and supervision.Experiments show that passive lock system has many advantages, such as wide operating voltage, power consumption, stable and reliable, low cost, easy to maintain and upgrade. It has a good promotional value in the field box office management and other security establishments.
