Sulfuric acid plays a very important position as raw materials in industrial production which has a history more than200years. However, in the nonferrous metal smelting process will emission flue gas containing a large number of SO2, which will cause serious pollution to the environment.Nonferrous metal smelter acid uses emission pollution air (SO2gas) as raw material to be translated into SO3, and then become the final production sulfuric acid. Obviously, smelter acid not only can solve the environmental problems, but also can get the product of sulfuric acid and bring good economic benefits for the enterprise. The conversion process in smelter acid process is the most important link which will directly affect the production of sulfuric acid. One of the most important indexes in the process of conversion is the conversion rate of SO2, but there is no online measurement instrument in the actual production process. So, how to get real-time data conversion rate of SO2becomes a research hotspot.In this paper, base on the question that how to measure conversion rate of SO2online in the process of copper smelter acid, a soft measurement method with MLS, PCR, PLS, RPLS were studied and got a perfect prediction effect. This paper focuses on the Matlab GUI platform to develop a set of MLS, PCR, PLS and RPLS integrated platform for the soft measurement algorithm, which is convenient for the conversion rate of SO2modeling fitting and prediction comparison, the soft measurement model to select the appropriate modeling of onversion rate of SO2and studied the correction model. In order to achieve further engineering, this paper has developed the WinCC conversion process monitor screen, realizing the data communication with Matlab based SO2conversion rate of soft measurement algorithm through the OPC interface.It can lay a theoretical foundation and achieve a means a feasible project of the conversion rate of SO2online measurement through the research of this paper.
