The detection for the composition and content of textile fiber is one of the important items of textile testing. The calculation of multicomponent fabric content has been considered as a complex logic work, because it involves many calculation parameters. Furthermore, the whole calculation process is cumbersome and haphazard. Hence, the mode of computer-aided manual calculation is still adopted. Based on the long-term study on the quantitative chemical analysis of textile fiber, I have detected the content of thousands multicomponent fabrics and obtained some regular patterns.The quantitative chemical analysis methods of multicomponent mixture fiber can be divided into conventional dissolving method and split dissolved method. The content of multicomponent fiber mixture can be calculated by two above-mentioned methods, respectively. The principle for the content calculation of multicomponent fiber mixture with such two methods is grasped and the Kimisada weight formula for multicomponent fiber mixture is also derived according to the related standard.The above principle can be converted to a mathematical model, and a set of calculation forms can be established by using Excel formula. Such calculation form is well applied to the real detection work. Furthermore, the quick calculation for the net dry content of multicomponent fiber mixture and their combined mass fraction of moisture regain is also realized.
