In order to improve the traditional non ionic surfactant performance, combined with non ion type and Gemini surfactants and their respective advantages, synthesis of comb type poly alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether non-ionic surface active agent, to provide new ideas for the application of pesticide adjuvant. The Nonionic type alkyl phenol polyoxyethylene ether dispersant have been synthesized with alkylphenol, formaldehyde solution and ethylene oxide as monomers by condensation polymerization. We discuss the relationship between the hydrophobic chain length, the degree of polymerization, the number of hydrophilic group and surface properties such as surface tension, critical micelle concentration (CMC), hydrophilic lipophilic balance (HLB), the maximum adsorption amount, The minimum adsorption area and Gibbs free energy. The results show that with the increase of hydrophobic chain length, the surface tension, CMC and HLB reduce, maximum adsorption quantity decreases, and minimum adsorption area increases, the Gibbs free energy increases. The ability of forming micelles enhances. With the increase of number of hydrophilic group all the ability are opposite. With the increase of polymerization degree, the change of surface properties and hydrophobic chain segments to increase at the same change trend. The surface ability of the tripolymer is the best. The surface tension, CMC and HLB are minimum, the maximum adsorption is minimum, the minimum adsorption area is maximum, the minimum Gibbs free energy is minimum, the ability of forming micelles is strongest.Select one of the surface performance best group monomer, dipolymer and tripolymer to use for the preparation of mancozeb suspension concentrate. Discuss of the structure of the polymer and the effects of physical and chemical properties for the suspension concentrate. The relationships between dispersant dosage and SC viscosity, particle size, stability of suspension and suspensibility were discussed, and the conclusion was that when the dosage of dispersant was3%, the35%mancozeb SC had the lowest viscosity, the minimum particle size, the highest suspensibility and the most stable. So that3%was the optimum amount in the formulation, and this moment the adsorption of dispersant was close to saturation and the space repulsion between particles reached the maximum value, and therefore the system is the most stable. The effects of the dispersant dosage on the SC rheological properties were investigated in this paper. The results showed that the systems were all pseudoplastic fluid and the rheological curves were in accordance with Herschel-Bulkley rheological model when the dispersant dosage was in the range of2%-12%. When the dispersant dosage was3%, the viscosity index K was the minimum, which indicating that the system had the minimum viscosity and the best liquidity.
