Landslide disaster has been one of the most prominent problems accompanied by the safety of open-pit mine production. In China, various kinds of landslide hazards have occurred in large-scale open-pit mines. The open-pit mines are instable or the potentially dangerous slope landslides accounted for20%of the total length of the slopes. Landslide hazards seriously threaten the safety of State property and people’s lives. The composition of the open-pit mine slope is a dynamic process, along with the extending mining, the height and angle of the slopes increase and therefore, the steep slopes come into being, and their safety seriously hampered the production.This article will take the steep slopes of Xiaolongtan Buzhaoba Open-pit Coal Mine in mining process as an example, and focus on the side slope stability analysis and the safety control. Furthermore, limit equilibrium method numerical simulation method will be used to study on slope stability of present and mined slope. Combined with the production, the systematic research of the slope reinforcement measures are carried out on the premise of guaranteed safety. Optimized governance plans will be proposed. Main research contents of this paper include following several aspects:1. Based on the slip-field theory and multiple limit equilibrium analysis methods, analysis on the stability of the present slope of North-western part of Buzhaoba Open-pit Coal Mine has been done, and the result of the slope being in a critical state is reached. In order to ensure the safety of the slope mine in production, systematic research on safety control measures are done, and eventually, the measure of drainage combined with partial load shedding is adopted.2. With the application of the slip-field theory and multiple limit equilibrium analysis methods, analysis on the stability of the mined slope of North-western part of Buzhaoba Open-pit Coal Mine has been done, and the result of the slope being in a unstable state is reached. Through systematic research and comparison of a variety of the protection and reinforcement measures, optimized reinforcement plan are obtained.3. For the economic value, rationality, and many other issues of the reinforcement project, analysis on the project cost is done on the concepts of raw material cost, the feasibility of the project implementation, applicability, and other aspects of the project cost. Finally the best optimized governance plan is concluded. |
