This thesis deals with the study on TPPMS/CBr4system catalyzed Friedel-Crafts alkylation. It consists of two parts:the first is a review on the synthetic progress of bis(indolyl)methanes (BIMs). The second part describes two TPPMS/CBr4Catalyzed Friedel-Crafts reactions. The catalyst system is easily separable from the substrate and product and can be recovered and reused without loss of catalytic activity.1. TPPMS/CBr4could efficiently catalyze the Friedel-Crafts alkylation of indoles with carbonyl compounds, producing BIMs in high yield.2. TPPMS/CBr4could efficiently catalyze the Friedel-Crafts alkylation of2-naphthol with aldehydes, producing14-alkyl(aryl)-14H-dibeno[a,j]xanthenes in high yield. |
