Five-axis CNC machining which represent the future of machinery,is indispensible for high-end manufacturing techniques around the world. Itsstructure has two rotating axis in addition to three parallel axis in generalconventional three axis machine. Five axis CNC interpolation technology processthe graphic outline of products described by the mathematical model, which is animportant part of the axis CNC system. In this article, after calculating and get theerror algorithm of the five-axis water jet cutting system, the error factorsof impact of the processing can be analysed, in order to seek the law between theaffecting factors and errors and achieve the purpose of better machining accuracy.Firstly, taking advantage of double-swivel head five-axis CNC machine toolstructure modeling and kinematics principle, there are three kinds of geometry errorsfactor on double-swivel head five-axis CNC water jet cutting machine.Machine error mode is attributed to the intersection error of two rotation axis, thedeviating position of two rotation axis, the length error of water jets.Begin with calculate the displacement value caused by the water jet rotatingaction from the initial state to a position, without the error factor and within theerror factor. The difference of tool position between practical and theoretical status iscaused by the error source. Calculated the error, there are two trajectory of the toolmotion path, one exist the error factor and the other doesn’t.Secondly, time-divided method application to the traditional CNC system can beextended to the five-axis CNC water cutting machine and show the linear andcircular interpolation algorithm of the five-axis water jet cutting machine. To thedual swing-type five-axis CNC machine tools, for example, the algorithm use ofhomogeneous transformation matrix, applied the time-divided law principle to thefive-axis CNC system, the proposed real-time non-linear time-divided interpolationalgorithm of the five-axis CNC water jet, as the foundation for the machine"soft compensation.".Finally,solving compensation algorithm of the five-axis water jet cuttingmachine. According to the error analysis on compensate of the water jet machining error. Interpolation can be on operations, and output the results of data processing,graphic simulation, error calculation, save and simulation the generated data. Thusthe calibration interpolation algorithms and error model of the simulation program iscompleted. The intuitive image displays the variation between error factors and error.This algorithm can greatly improve the water jet machining effect.
