Super absorbent polymer is a kind of three-dimensional mesh polymer which is insoluble in water. The product performance got a very in-depth study and very good application since the emergence of super absorbent polymer resins. The synthetic category resins is traditional, and it is widely used in many areas, but it will bring a huge burden on the environment because it is not biodegradable and some other properties for example salt resistance performance and heat resistance performance,and it is expensive to be popular products.Therefore, it is an important research topic in this field to developing a kind of prices resins which is biodegradable and have good performance.This paper referenced the vast tall bibulous colophony material overseas,and then made a comprehensive review about the fields of development process, the present research situation and basic theory, the development trends.ST-AA-MMT and MFR-AA-MMT super absorbent compound polymer were synthesized by starch(ST), MFR(a natural polymer material), acrylic monomer, bentonite(MMT),ammonium persulfate-hydrogen sulfite of sodium as the initiatorN,N-methylene diacrylamide (NMBA) as the corss linking agent.By single factor experiment, we studied rule of the influence which is caused by starch gelatinization temperature and time,copolymerization reaction temperature and time, monomer ratio of rectants, initiator system, initiator, initiator, join way, acrylic acid neutralization degree, acrylic acid neutralization mode, crosslinking agent, solution pH value and some other various kinds of preparation conditions on ST-AA-MMT and MFR-AA-MMT,and analyzed and discussed the polymerization reaction mechanism and the reasons of the appearance of the rules. Then through orthogonal test, we got the optimum preparing ST-AA-MMT and the MFR-AA-MMT best experimental conditions, products with good preparation of the water absorption ability, the pure water absorption rate of two resin is 407 g. g-1 and respectively 1194 g. g-1,56.0 g. g-1 and107.4 g. g-1 in the mass fraction is 0.9% NaCl solution. And the biological catabolic performance of MFR-AA-MMT is good, measured by the method of landfill soil degradation rates as high as 52.5% 30 days.Using the infrared spectrum scanned ST-AA-MMT and MFR-AA-MMT,and analyzing the structure of the two kinds of resin.In order to understand more in-depth of the resin compared with the traditional super absorbent polymer, we compared various performance of the two kinds of resin with acrylic acid(AA)-acrylamide(AM) resin. For example:Bibulous rate, bibulous rate, resistant to salt water, repeated sexual, the ability of water and biodegradability, etc.We got bibulous rate ranking and swelling rate ranking and salt resistance performance in sorting, three kinds of sodium (NaBr, NaCl, NaF) solution sequence of the balance bibulous rate changes, pH value of tolerance can sort, thermostatic water performance sort, the ability of water repeatedly sort, biodegradability sorting of the three kinds of resin based on a lot of mathematical fittings of the experimental data. And this conclusion provides basis reference data for the practical application of the deep research on the three kinds of resin.
