Based on the evolving progress of medical imaging technology and computer vision, medical image processing and analysis play increasingly prominent roles in modern health care.In recent years, the image segmentation technique based on graph theory becomes a hot spot because of its good characteristics.Discrete approaches have drawbacks such as the grid bias, extra memory and computa-tional burden. The continuous max-flow and min-cut approach has the advantage of small measurement error and parallel computation.First,we make a brief introduction to the method of image segmentation and graph theory. Then, the continues max-flow approach is introduced. Finally,we perform a number of experiments, and the experimental results are summarized and analyzed.
