Shale gas is an important kind of unconventional gas resources, its accumulatio n and output mechanism are closely related to the pore structure and fracture of shal e reservoir. The space of shale reservoir mainly consist of pore and fracture, It’s import ant to make qualitative description and quantitative characterization of shale aperture. Based on the typical shale gas reservoirs in eastern Sichuan, this paper knows it’s char acteristics of the reservoir through microscopic method, core description, geophysica1technology and three dimensional aperture modeling. The main achievements and un derstanding are as follows:(1) The factors such as mineral composition, organic matter content and organi c matter maturity are analysed and the macroscopic parameters such as porosity, perm eability of microstructure are measured, the content of clay minerals is39%, while qu artz is about50%, organic matter is2.42%, organic matter maturity is2.5%±. Shale’s c haracteristics of different interval makes great difference, which caused the different p orosity and permeability of shale reservoir,(2) Through microscopic pore analysis technology and the use of rock thin-sectio n analysis, electron microscope imaging, CT scan imaging and mercury intrusion met hod, analysed the shale microscopic pore morphology and pore size distribution.sum marized its microscopic pore types mainly include organic matter pore and intergranul ar pore of inorganic clay minerals。(3) Identified the occurrence of shale fracture through core description, includin g the crack length, width, obliquity and filling material and filling degree etc, and ide ntified the cracks of shale reservoirs by using the imaging logging, analysing the mac roscopic fracture distribution characteristics and controlling factors, structural fracture s are controlled by tectonic stress, the seam structure affected by sedimentary diagene sis, upper study area is given priority to with structural fractures, while the lower is gi ven priority to with bedding joints.(4) On the basis of core data and logging data, the well profilemap has been drew, according to the different occurrence of cracks divided reservoir into different reserv oir aperture facies, predicted the reservoir plane distribution characteristics of each sm all layer crack, and finally, in petrel aperture faces modeling, characterized the reservo ir fracture distribution in three-dimensional space.
