Research On Industrial Scale Growth And Network Evolution Of Pre - Division Professional Town

Specialized Town is a town in which the major industrial is one specialized industries.It is the industrial economic model of Guangdong province, which has become an important force in economic development. The paper has researched on scale growth mechanism of the Specialized Town of Siqian and industry network evolution taking the Specialized Town of Siqian oriented stainless steel metal products industry as an example. The Specialized Town of Siqian is a traditional industry lack of motivation, industrial transformation and upgrading is imminent. Therefore, the paper has researched on scale growth mechanism of the Specialized Town of Siqian and network evolution characteristics. However, traditional method research on the specialized town was in the majority with qualitative description and case. So far, it has not been found researching the specialized town’s industrial scale growth and network evolution characteristics from the perspective of complex network theory and method. Therefore, the article has researched on the Specialized Town of Siqian with complex network method from a new Angle, established the specialized town’s industrial scale growth model, explored the specialized town’s industrial scale growth pattern and constructed the network topology to carry on the empirical analysis. The main research content and conclusions include the following three aspects:(1) The paper has analyzed the difference between the specialized town’s industrial agglomeration and industrial cluster based on the theory of industrial cluster and complex network theory, and defined the connotation and extensions of the specialized town from the perspective of complex network.(2) The article has established the specialized town’s industrial scale growth model. The results indicate that, the Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry network is a typical scale-free network in accordance with the scale-free network characteristics. The Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry obeys merit mechanism and network scale growth to achieve network size growth. In scale growth process, the Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry network has the nature of the robustness for random attack, and has the nature of strong fragility for the coordinated attack. Combining the specialized town’s industrial scale growth model Suggestions are given from cultivating core nodes, increase the common node, improve the scale-free network robustness and stability.(3) The paper has made the empirical analysis on network evolution of the Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry. First the paper has defined the complexity of the network, provided the complexity of network growth measure with Pajek software. Secondly the article has built network topology of the Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry, and made simulation analysis on the Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry of evolution of complex networks from node degree distribution, aggregation coefficient, average path length three sides. The results indicate that, the Specialized Town of Siqian’s industry network hadn’t complexity at the beginning of the scale growth. As scale was growing, industry network node degree distribution had obeyed the power-law distribution, It was proved the scale-free feature of the size of the growth. Finally, suggestions of the development of the Specialized Town of Siqian are put forward.The results offer a theoretical basis for future research on the specialized town, at the same time also has a guiding significance to the local government and enterprises making related decisions theory.
