The evolutionary mechanism of cooperation behavior has been an important research topic in ecology field. In the cooperative behavior, the maintenance mechanism of mutualism system is one of the subjects in the ecology, which still be in suspense and full of controversies. In the ecological system, typical mutualism system includes three categories: the legume-rhizobia, fig-fig wasps and yucca-yucca moths. Prior research scholars for the legume rhizobia mutualism cooperation system is numerous, sometimes their conclusions are different, sometimes even opposite, because the experimental environment, experimental conditions and other factors vary from one method to another. In this paper, the Meta-analysis and statistical model selection are employed, integrated and analyzed some researches of scholars, it obtained with ecological implications.Meta-analysis is the main research approach which has been used in this paper. The main principle of Meta-analysis is in the same or similar research topics, concluded collecting, integrating and analyzing data, which is a new statistical method. This paper introduced the Meta-analysis principle, research procedures, research methods in detail, and illustrates its advantages compared to the traditional literature review, and also this method is applied to the rhizobium-legume cooperation system. The rhizobia-legume mutualism system is of three cooperation systems, which is very important. In this system the legume as the host to provide carbohydrate and other nutritional elements for rhizobia, rhizobia as parasite provide nutrients for the legume, their mutualism is stable. But the cooperation mechanism of it and the cooperation influencing factors of these problems exist controversies in the academic community. This paper will research and analysis these question. The major conclusions as follows:1. According to the principle of Meta-analysis, using the response ratio, we can learn that size and weight of root nodule belong to partner selection based on the results, it is significant different from punishment measures, its ecological significance is strategy of rhizobium-legume of cooperation system established initially and it is accurate.2. Modeling on the various factors which are effecting the effect of experimental group and control group, and using the model selection to choose weight based on accounted for more than 95% of the model sets, analyzed each factor. The study found that: measures effect and fertilization are the reasons of the experimental group are different from the control group; in addition, the interaction between host and measures effect can be a significant impact on the effect values.3. Based on the best model, we analyzed different levels of the different factors. The results showed that host plant classification, between soybean and other host plants have a significant difference. Corporate genus, Sinorhizobium and other two showed different. Different fertilization conditions resulted in significant differences of effect value. Sanction in the rhizobium-legume mutualism system is not widespread, but the partner choice in contrast. Inoculation complexity is not sophisticated enough to cause difference between experimental group and control group.4. Based on the analysis of interaction, we found the interaction of sanction and fertilization is significant, but interaction of partner choice and fertilization is not significant. Different host plants on different levels of interaction measured effect are not the same. This paper through the analysis of the data collection, data sorting and data analysis, combined with the background of ecology, the legume rhizobia mutualism system maintenance are analyzed, which has an important ecological significance.
