An Analysis Of Uncertainty Principle And Delayed Choice Experiment

Since the birth of quantum mechanics in the early 20 th century, there is a lot of controversy in this field. These arguments not only occur in the field of physics, but also bring many discusses among scientific philosophers in the field of philosophy. In terms of the uncertainty principle and Wheeler’s delayed choice experiment of quantum mechanics system, this article analyzes and discusses the debates and interpretations on both physics and philosophy.Generally, it is believed that to the physical meaning of the uncertainty principle, there are two different explanations. A point of view, represented by proposer Heisenberg, is called the traditional explanation of uncertainty principle. It points out that this principle is discussed on measuring the uncertainty of several mechanical quantities at the same time in the microscopic system.The alternative view is called the statistical interpretation. It argues that the principle is discussed on the statistical results formed by measuring lots of particles many times.For the philosophy meaning of this principle, the debates are more extensive, and the views are more different. To the uncertainty principle, I think it is necessary to give readers a clear and complete picture through analysis, discussion, and the thinking of its philosophical connotation. This article does not attempt to make a new and unique interpretation of the theory, but try to give the analysis and discussion on the basis of all kinds of views.In the Symposium of the 100 th anniversary of Einstein’s birthday in 1979 Princeton, wheeler put forward the thought of delay choice. Likewise, the debates of the delayed choice experiment are also unceasing since its birth, and the meaning of its debates has a intensified trend, as the same as the various experiments of the delayed choice experiment are increasing in recent years. The gratifying situation produced many new findings and evidences, which are very helpful to update the philosophical conclusions and discussion.Considering the difficulties of the experiment, I will have a discussion of the interpretations of Einstein, Bohr and Wheeler, and try to give a more clear and reasonable explanation.Since Wheeler put forward the idea of delayed choice experiment, many researchers and groups design all kinds of new experiments on this principle to make the inspection and analysis.It enables us to make further analysis based on the concrete results of the experiments.The article is based on the summary and analysis and presents a comprehensive thinking.
