Local Deconstruction Of Western European Scientific Concept And Reconstruction Of Postcolonialism

In the traditional concept of science, western science is considered to be anobjective and universal knowledge system, and its pursuit of universality, objectivityand the absolute phenomenon inherent in the two points of the body and thephenomenon of ancient Greece, modern scientific knowledge, the philosophy ofscientific realism. This defense of the universality of science in traditional scientificconcept belongs to a purely speculative logic movement, and thus suffered Logicismdilemma. Meanwhile, with the ability to transform nature, science become the basicand the most major part of human life. As the representative of Western Europecentrism, science is considered to be the root cause of the crisis of modernity. But it isalso a kind of local practice which is based on the mottled phenomenon of the world,the history and culture in a particular social situation and the laboratory car. Therebythe concept of knowledge which rejects universality and contains locality is generated,but this concept of local knowledge will inevitably fall into the epistemologicalrelativism and cultural relativism. Although the concept of local knowledge from theperspective of theory-oriented adopt or avoid the attitude of relativism, it still doesnot actually solve the strong modernity narrative with the cultural spread of WesternEurope and value-oriented. Meanwhile, it mainly emphasizes the exchanges andinteractive process of scientists and other scientists, laboratory instruments, and thelaboratory results other in the laboratory car. Thus it still have some degree of isolatednature. Therefore, despite this concept of local knowledge start from the perspectiveof naturalism, but it still does not describe science as alive in the whole picture, andthus laiding the opportunity and possibility for the further describing of scientificimage in promiscuous spacetime. That is, the discourse open of concept of localknowledge provides a naturalistic perspective and thinking premise for reconstructionof Western Europe. In fact, Western science can not be completely attributed to theuniversal knowledge or local knowledge, the post-colonial technical scientificconcept, combining with the post-colonial concept, actor-network theory, travelingtheory, provides support for the reconstruction of Western Europe. As a form ofpractical activities in the actual context, knowledge gets translated, restructured, transacted or even replaced by the way of multiple resonance in uneven multiphasesystems or the "seamless web" which is composed by heterogeneous elements likesocial history and technical experience in the promiscuous space-time, and thatconstitutes a new image of science and a new solution to the crisis of modernity. Inother words, with the globalization and the increasingly frequent exchanges, in thecontemporary social and historical context, when the knowledge of Western Europewhich is in a strong position invades and transforms vulnerable knowledge, we cannot said that strong knowledge assimilates or is isomorphic to weak knowledgesimply. All kinds of knowledge, including science Western Europe, constitutes acomplex entangled states which includes the multi-event coexistence in the contactspace, and it forms a non-uniform heterogeneous multiphase system with the locallanguage and culture, politics, economics, etc. To some extent, the knowledge whichis at different values, ways of knowing and theoretical vision forms a shape of worldknowledge in a multiple resonant way, and the form of knowledge of the worldconstitutes a new image of science on global significance. Based on the new image ofscience, the crisis of modernity is no longer the independent hegemony which thetraditional scientific concept describes and the strong control of desires which isbrought about by the science of Western Europe, and it already turns to the power ofgame of many elements which is maneuvered in the knowledge of world and thenetwork of practice and the products and results which this power of game forms.This is a new modern crisis which is fit with the contemporary social reality. In orderto gradually transform or even digest this crisis, we need to make the wholeknowledge-practical network to the multi-angle and multi-node checks and balancesand regulation in the systematic, complex way of thinking and operating purport.
