Nowdays, global navigation satellites systems is playing an increasingly important role in the defense industry, national construction and human’s daily life. So it is very significant to have a sophisticated autonomous navigation satellite system. To obtain highly accurate positioning results, we must have the precise orbit first as the accuracy of orbit directly affects the accuracy of positioning. In this paper, how to determine the precise orbit of BDS navigation satellite system has been researched. The main work is as follows:(1) This paper has studied the precise orbit determination theory of BDS, contains orbit numerical integration, determition of initial orbit and orbit improvements.(2) This paper has done an experimental analysis on relevant issues of BDS precise orbit determination, contains numerical orbit integration feasibility analysis for GEO and IGSO satellites, BDS orbit fitting and numerical analysis of perturbation forces of BDS satellites.(3) This paper has introduced the BDS satellite constellation briefly.(4) This paper has computed the precise orbit of BDS based on the observation data of ground tracking stations using the PANDA software and its accuracy is analyzed.(5) This paper has calculated the PPP of ground tracking stations such as provincial CORS stations using the precise orbit and clock determined independently and its accuracy is analyzed while the accurary of orbit is testing.(6) This paper presents the mothod of polynomial interpolation of GNSS satellite coordinates based on position and velocity information.
