The Appraisal Of The Transformation Of Road-transportation Economic Growth Pattern And Research On The Way To Transform

With the development of Chinese economy, the high growth has been mainly obtained by road-transportation industry. Compared with that in developed countries, the growth pattern of road-transportation economic development in our country is one of extensive pattern characterized by high input, high consumption, low output, and low quality. With ever-insufficient supply of resources and a worsened environment in respect to pollution, it becomes obvious that such an extensive pattern of economic growth, built up by solely enlarging the size of construction and increasing the input of production factor, neglecting the progress in science and technology, the practice of modernized management and the quality of economic performance can no longer be maintained.In this paper, I summarized the research production on the appraisal of the economic growth pattern in the world. Based on the research of exist theory about the way to transform the growth pattern, I analyzed the appraisal of the transformation of road-transportation economic growth pattern and research on the relationship between the growth pattern and efficiency of resources allocation.Then have a research on the way to transform. The frame of the paper is as follows: Briefly introduce the development on the correlation theory on growth pattern research. Based on the research of knowledge of production function, I set up the reformed production function. And then I appraised the growth pattern of road-transportation economic. In this paper, I compared the parametric estimation method and the non-parametric estimation method, then have a research on Malmquist-index. Through the Malmquist-index model of non-parametric estimation method, I appraised the efficiency of resources allocation. And then I analyze the changes of total factor production in road-transportation industry. Data of inputs ant outputs is dealt with and presented. The results of the changes of productivity are achieved. In section 6, according to the result and the theory of industry economics, I analyzed the way to transform of the transformation of road-transportation economic growth pattern in our country and give detailed suggestions.
