Research On The State-owned Industrial Enterprise Regional Technical Efficiency Based On DEA In Liaoning Province

Industry plays a prominent role in the national economy and it is the main source of thefiscal revenue, which determines the modernization of the national economy in the aspect of itsscale, speedand level. It is also the fundamental guarantee of our nation’s economic and politicalindependence. Presentation of the new industrialization road requires the industrial enterprise toreach high-tech, good economic benefit, low resource consumption and pollution as well aswell-development of the human resources. And it requests us to combine those five aspects withthe reality of our nation’s industrialization developmentso that it is the reliable foundation andbraced force of our nation’s sustainable development. Therefore, evaluating the industrialenterprises’ regional technical efficiency is an effective method of understanding industry’ssituation and an important means to improve the regional economy level in Liaoning province,and it’s also an important way to improvethe enterprises.In this thesis the author strives to elaboratethe theoretical knowledge of the technicalefficiency and DEA based on the existed research achievements and the core idea of enterprisetechnical efficiency. Then according to the analyses of current situation, the author evaluates theregional technical efficiency of state-owned industrial enterprises in Liaoning province, whichadopts the method of DEA in allusion to the unsatisfied situation and problem. At last, comparethe result laterally and longitudinally, and put forward some countermeasure and suggestions toimprove the regional technical efficiency of state-owned industrial enterprises in Liaoningprovince.Compare and analyze the regional technical efficiency of state-owned industrial enterprisesresult in14cities of Liaoning province, find out the areas whose technical efficiency is low,explicit the distance between it and the production leading surface, then take effective measuresto improve the regional technical efficiency, in this way, we can shrink the distance of regionaltechnical efficiency in Liaoning province, and promote the sustainable development of Liaoning province regional economy, in the same time, provide reference and mirror significance for the14cities in Liaoning province to formulate the strategy of regional economic development.
