Spatial Research On Economic Growth And Openness Under The Inter-provincial Association Prospective

Under the background of U.S."subprime crisis" and European "sovereign debt crisis", studying of openness and economic growth of the provincial association seem urgent importance.We constructed openness index and inspected all provinces of China’s economic growth and inter-provincial association rule during1979-2012.we have conducted in-depth research by adoring statistical fitting, complex networks and spatial analysis methods on the basis of openness, economic growth and inter-provincial association.specifically including the following three aspects:First, the paper examines the impact of openness on economic growth and inter-provincial association, we found that there is an inverted U-curve relationship between the degree of openness and economic growth as well as openness and inter-provincial association.As the degree of openness continues to improve, economic growth first show accelerating and then slowing,the degree of inter-provincial association first show strengthening and then weakening.Second,we found that economic growth in space presents a significant aggregation features, namely the characters of economic growth in neighboring provinces really close; meanwhile,we also found that the Bohai Economic circle have poor association and the Pearl River Delta region have strong association and the center triangle have the highest association,inter-provincial association of northeast is not as high as we expected.Third, we specifically examines the relationship between openness and urban-rural income gap, as well as inter-provincial association and number of inter-provincial trains, draw the following discovery:the higher the degree of interior openness of provinces,the smaller income gap of urban-rural; The relationship between economic growth and per capita GDP ranking presented an inverted U-shaped curve;Inter-provincial association is sensitive with the increasing of the number of trains;when the train reaches a certain level, elasticity of inter-provincial association becomes smaller with the increasing of the number of trains and show steady positive relationship.
