Empirical Analysis Of Competitiveness Of City Commercial Bank

In our country, the history of urban commercial banks,although only ten years, but its rapid growth has played an important role in the banking industry.As of May2012, China has had137outlets tens of thousands of city commercial banks and city commercial banks. After the founding of the city commercial banks,through deepening reform,seeking innovative ways,such as,in the fierce competition in the market continue to explore their own path of development,has achieved good results. But with the advance interest rate market,the banking industry is facing increasingly fierce competition, city commercial banks in order to gain a foothold in the competition,we must strive to improve their competitiveness,and therefore the study of city commercial banks is particularly competitive important and has important practical significance.This paper describes the research status of city commercial banks competitive,then define the relevant concepts, including competitiveness, competitiveness of commercial banks and corporate competitiveness, then review the status of the development process and the competitiveness of city commercial banks,then combined with the characteristics of city commercial banks to establish evaluation index system of city commercial banks competitiveness, then nine city commercial banks, five state-owned commercial banks and six joint-stock commercial bank representative sample for the study, using factor analysis on China launched an Empirical Study of city commercial banks competitive calculated each bank’s overall competitiveness ranking, and to analyze the competitiveness of city commercial banks.Finally, according to the results of empirical analysis, proposed to improve the competitiveness of China’s city commercial banks in recommendations.
