| Finance is the core of the economy which plays a decisive role inpromoting economic development. At the same time, the regionalfinancial development makes a significant contribute in optimizing theregional industrial structure and promoting the regional economic growth.However, in order to understand the importance of regional finance, wemust make accurately judgement on the regional financial developmentstage, which requires empirical test on the convergence and spillovereffects of regional financial development.Throughout the research ofregional financial development stage, the relevant theory developmenthas been relatively mature, but the empirical research in less developedareas still not so common. This paper based on the predecessors’ researchin the convergence and spillover effects of regional financial development,making the empirical research in the convergence and spillover effects ofGansu province.The research will help to make accurately judgement onthe regional financial development stage of Gansu province，giving theformulation guidance to promot financial and economic development ofGansu province.To be specific, in this paper includes the following six chapters. Thefirst chapter explains the research purpose and meaning, the relatedliteratures were reviewed, and analyzed the research framework of thispaper, the main innovation points. The second chapter combed the related theory in convergence and spillover effects of regional financialdevelopment, explain the space-time evolution process of convergenceand spillover effects. The third chapter make the overview of Gansuprovince in overall and regional two aspects. The fourth chapter is theempirical part, by using the inspection of convergence equation, panelsSLM, SEM model, make empirical test in the convergence and spillovereffects of Gansu province. The results show that the financialdevelopment of Gansu province is still in the early stages of the financialagglomeration. The fifth chapter according to the empirical results,combined with the actual situation, making the brief analysis of theregional financial development of Gansu province. According to theresults of the study,the sixth chapter gives a reasonable policy suggestionson improve regional financial development stages of Gansu province. |
