Precise measurement of labor income share is the prerequisite of revealing the true trend of factor income share in China. Since the1990s, estimation results based on three types of official statistics reflect such a phenomenon unanimously:Chinese labor income share decline from more than50%in1995to about45%in2003, and accelerate after2004, it is less than40%in2007. Whether the labour income share declines so fast as the National Bureau of Statistics report about? In this regard, relevant scholars launch a comprehensive and profound discussion and a large numbers of literature on how to accurately calculate labor income share emerge. There is a basic thought in domestic documents that using reported data directly is not an effective way to measure and reveal the real level and change of Chinese labour income share, but how we should measure the true value and trend of labour income share have been all along inconclusive. On one hand, because the measurement of labor income share is far more diffucult than its simple and intuitive definition, the exited calculation method usually can not take all the challenges into account and lack systematicness. On the other hand, because of different research original intension, estimating the same object with different methods always appears the big divergence. In addition, the existing documents put more emphasis on the analysis on the analysis of determinants of changes in labor share. This may lead to unpersuasive follow-up studies. There is an another question.Non-observed economy issues are highlighted in recent years, as the economy which have not been included in GDP but is supposed to be examined, it also involves inputing factors and also pays income for labour factor. As a word, non-observed economy also participate in the initial distribution of national income. In this context, this paper tries to propose a new method for calculating labour income share by taking account of NOE, and re-estimates the labor income share from1995to2007based on the national and regional two-dimensional. Further, we explain the movement of labor income share both theoretically and empirically. First, we make a mathematical derivation based on three-sector model, and then we make empirical analysis with panel data. Overall, the paper conforms to the research idea of specifying the status, proposing the method, re-measuring the share and analyzing the cause. The full text is divided into five chapters:Chapter1is the introduction, expounding the background, purpose, the structure of the paper, the main innovation and deficiency.Chapter2is the review of the literature. This chapter is devoted to systematic introduction, classification and evaluation of relevant literature at home and abroad, and discusses the following two themes:labour income share calculation and the influence factors of labour income share.Chapter3is the re-measurement of labor income share. This chapter is devoted to explanation new method and re-estimates the labor income share from1995to2007based on the national and regional two dimensional. This chapter explains new method for estimating the labour income share, in the1995-2007national and provincial labor estimates the revenue share, emphasizes the combination of theory method innovation and practical estimation. Based on the results, we analyze the differences between the results separately based on original method and new method.Chapter4is statistical analysis of the trends of labor income share. This chapter devoted to explanation of the movement of labor income share both theoretically and empirically. First, we make a mathematical derivation based on three-sector model, on this basis, combined with the framework of the neo-classical theory of labour income share,we make an empirical analysis.Chapter5is the conclusions and suggestions.
