Since the reform and opening up, the Chinese economy and foreign trade development at the same time, our country is measured in dollars per capita nominal GDP growth rate and the real per capita GDP currency measurement between growth rate appeared a non-equilibrium phenomena, and the non balanced change and China’s foreign trade structure change has high correlation.Similarly, when we are simple to many junior developing countries economic development review, found that they had seen and similar changes in GDP per capita of the unbalanced phenomenon in our country, and foreign trade structure changes in them at the same time also there is a corresponding relationship and the unbalanced change. Considering these facts, and combining with two kinds of per capita GDP reflect the different economic connotation, it can be said that the two kinds of disequilibrium change of GDP per capita in China and at the same time there is some connection between foreign trade structure change, and this contact may be common for developing countries. Based on this background, in this paper, two kinds of per capita GDP as the breakthrough point, unbalanced change launched research to our country foreign trade structure changes. From the point of view of the existing literature, this article analysis perspective is new, therefore, can be largely accordingly for the existing structure of international trade theory, in order to better explain developing in the process of national economic development facing changes in the structure of foreign trade. To the situation of our country to make a better explanation, this paper selected the two per capita GDP have been unbalanced change, at the same time, and three of the country’s economic development has many similar south-east Asian countries as investigation object, and study their GDP per capita of two kinds of unbalanced change process, and at the same time the changes in the structure of foreign trade. And theoretical analysis of disequilibrium change on the transmission mechanism of foreign trade structure changes, from two different growth rate of GDP per the economy, the characteristic analysis of unbalanced how changes in enterprise production and the influence of residents’ consumption, leading to a country’s foreign trade structure change. Finally, after the reform and opening-up policy in our country empirical fact makes the corresponding confirmatory analysis, and put forward the corresponding policy recommendations based on the current situation. Through the research, in this paper, the following main conclusions: First, two kinds of per capita GDP disequilibrium change and corresponding to the foreign trade structure changes in a certain sense is junior developing countries have in common. In their infancy, economic development dollars nominal GDP per capita growth overall growth of real GDP per capita is lower than the local currency, at this point, the export side, rapidly increase the proportion of low value-added products, value added and high value-added products in relatively stable or increased slightly; Imports, imports of consumer goods are relatively stable, its internal proportion of durable goods is basically stable. And in their economic development is relatively mature stage, the dollar is significantly higher than nominal GDP per capita growth in local currency real per capita GDP growth rate, at this point, the export side, the low proportion of low value-added products, start falling, added value and high value-added products is showing a more obvious than the previous rise; Imports, imports of consumer goods is rising, in its internal share of durable goods also unceasingly to enhance.Second, two kinds of per capita GDP disequilibrium change effect on a country’s foreign trade structure change is through its influence on enterprises and individuals. For companies, two kinds of per capita GDP disequilibrium change means inconsistencies between production cost and labor productivity change, reflect the status of enterprise production cost advantage change. The changes in the production cost advantage for the country all kinds of products of the enterprise brings different competitive performance, the corresponding led to the change of export structure. For residents, two kinds of disequilibrium change means of GDP per capita income level changes caused by the demand for goods and non-uniform variation between domestic output capacity improvement, reflect the matching condition of the residents needs and its output. The residents needs and match its output capacity, will lead to changes in the structure of imports.Third, after the reform and opening up of China and southeast Asia countries, is not accord with the concept in this paper, theoretical analysis. The two kinds of per capita GDP disequilibrium change is the economic development of our country various aspects corresponding to the same content change of the coordination, its effect on China’s foreign trade structure change is through its influence on enterprises and individuals.
