Corporate Social Responsibility Food Safety Perspective

Corporate social responsibility refers to the corporate which creates profits for shareholders, shall be liable for the legal responsibility at the same time, and also undertakes the responsibility of employees, consumers, communities and the environment. Since the concept of corporate social responsibility which is a relatively wide range, so this article only inquiry the area of food safety as a starting point, especially the food corporate social responsibility."Food is as important as our life", from the microscopic point of view, food security related to people of a healthy diet; from a macro perspective, it involves national people’s livelihood.ln recent years, food safety has become a hot term in China, always happen appalling food safety problems. Driven by the interests, many companies will leave behind food safety issues. As China’s food safety system is still not perfect, and management institutions lack of execution, leads to the ability of the corporate bear the social responsibility is increasingly weak.The lacks of social responsibility threaten to their own development, threaten the safety of consumers, and also threaten the livelihood of people in the entire country.Corporate social responsibility is closely relates to public interests. In this paper, through the study in the present situation of China’s food safety problems, the social responsibility of the corporate and the social responsibility of food corporate, analyze the reason oi lack in social responsibility of food enterprise. And to these reasons, discuss in-depth the system construction policy of China’s Food Corporate Social Responsibility.
