Heilongjiang is one of Chinese major grain producing areas where per capita arable land areais5.8times of the national average. The agricultural service level of Heilongjiang is higher thanthe other provinces, at the same time the current modern agricultural comprehensive reform isalso underway. In this paper, we used Heilongjiang as the research object to explore the directlyand indirect effects between agricultural services and the income of the farmers when theindustry to support agriculture efforts have been strengthened. Agricultural services are animportant part of Chinese modernization of agriculture, whose clients are the majority farmers.Based on the theory of modern agricultural development, social division of labor theory andcost-benefit theory, in the third chapter the paper analyzed the role of agricultural services playon farmers’ income. In this paper, three major aspects including increasing of labor productivityfrom agricultural services, non-agricultural land productivity and increased working hours toimprove farm income are described respectively. In this study the means of agriculturalproduction, mainly based on farming production and operation mode. Standardization andregulation of agricultural machinery service who not only improves the land grain yields, butalso reduces production costs, in the process of the rush farming and a bumper harvest plays asignificant role. Compared with farmers’ purchasing their own terms, agricultural still using theemployment services become more effective option to increase farmers’ incomes. The forthchapter of the paper divided farmers’ income into the agricultural and the non-agriculturalincome for quantitative analysis. The results showed that investments on agricultural machineryservices of Heilongjiang have a positive effect to farmers’ income, but there is no significantbenefit. It used Cobb-Douglas production function to find that there was a weak correlationbetween the agricultural machinery services expenses and agricultural income. In the aspect ofnon-agricultural income, the promoting effect of agricultural machinery service onnon-agricultural income is reflected by its substitution for countryside labor force, the regressionresults showed that agricultural machinery services for the countryside labor force is notunlimited substitution, and it effect on non-agricultural income depends on the number ofcountryside labor force which could release. The raise of agricultural modernization levelmainly reflected on the increasing of farmers’ investment in agricultural operations services.
