Study On Countermeasures For Promoting The Establishment Of A FTA Between Chinese And Australia

Since21Century, China Australia economic and trade relations between the two countries are rapidly development, focus on the establishment of negotiations on the FTA has already started.But after ten years of hard work the FTA is still faced with many difficulties.This thesis based on the study of the economic relations between China and Australia’s analysis as a starting point, then related to bilateral trade and economic growth of the two countries and the trade impact of the empirical study, from specific to general.Finally based on the results of the study are put forward to promote meaningful in Australia to establish free trade area of the countermeasures.This thesis combines qualitative and quantitative tools, first through the opening on the economic level, China and Australian trade specific content and structure, development status, Australian investment in Australia trade comparative advantage and competitive advantage, the degree of trade integration and the China Australia FTA development process of the research, the current economic situation in Australia has more in-depth understanding; and further by using regression model and VAR model, the factors related to China and Australian Trade and economic growth of the two countries and the influence from the Chinese point of view China—Australia trade carried out empirical research. Through the study found:First of all, the foundation of establishing the FTA are:1background trend of regional economic integration on international at present;2the2sides of economic strength and constantly improve the level of opening;3bilateral trade and the industrial structure are highly complementary;4bilateral trade with higher degrees;5trad has apparent effect on the economy.Secondly,the real obstacles of establishing Australia Free Trade Area are:1the difference between the levels of economic development greatly;2there are trade imbalance;3the sides of the sensitive industry trade protection seriously;4the sides of trade promotion effect factors persistent weak.Finally, based on the research results, to promote the implementation of the FTA should following measures:1the implementation of effective measures to reduce the trade deficit;2to promote the transformation of extra industrial trade to intra industrial trade;3in sensitive industries reasonable tax reduction gradually open;4to encourage investment to development;5to strengthen energy cooperation to ensure the economic security of mineral;6to adjust its foreign strategy seek further cooperation.
