Commercial Bank Strategic Performance Evaluation

Since the21st century, our country financial industry open progress faster speed,strength, advanced management of foreign Banks into China, China’s commercial Banksfacing unprecedented severe test. In the face of rapidly changing environment, the traditionalperformance evaluation system has been unable to adapt to the trend of the development ofthe modern commercial bank. Traditional performance management approach simply use theappraisal of financial indicators to measure the operating performance of commercial Banks,internal and external environment of the commercial Banks to the influence of itsperformance, and ignore the non-financial indicators play an important role in its operatingperformance, the reason for commercial Banks, how to pass on the improvement of theperformance evaluation system to improve their own competitiveness, how to comprehensiveperformance evaluation on the financial factors and non-financial factors.In this article, using literature method, the method of combining the quantitative analysisand qualitative analysis. First consult the related literature at home and abroad, understand theforeign commercial bank performance evaluation system of construction and the problemsexisting in the performance evaluation of commercial Banks in China, trying to build a set ofsuitable for the development of our country commercial bank comprehensive strategicperformance evaluation system. Then it introduces the concept of the balanced scorecard andsocial responsibility, the balanced scorecard four dimensions combined with socialresponsibility increase the dimension of social responsibility to build strategic performanceevaluation system of commercial Banks. Adopt the method of combining quantitative analysisand qualitative analysis, using the analytic hierarchy process to determine the index weightand evaluation results, in order to the accuracy and rationality of the evaluation results.
