With the increasing competition in the market, Many enterprises begin to pay attention to their employees’voluntary behavior of initiative and support. And these are precisely the contents of the contextual performance. It has been two decades since the contextual performance put forward in1993. Many aspects such as its content, impact factors and the impact on the organization have been studied. This paper will investigate the contextual performance of our employees, and analyze how contextual performance be influenced by personality and organizational commitment.In this paper, we use the literature review, questionnaires and statistical analysis methods to explore the relationship between personality、organizational commitment and contextual performance. It is the first time we make them in the same model, and analyze the relationship between personality and contextual performance under the different organizational commitment. This enriches the contents of the contextual performance theoretically. At the same time, the recommendation we give in this paper can also direct the human resource management, such as recruitment, training, promotion, etc.
