Spin-off And Evolution Of Innovation Network

With the economic globalization nowadays, the cluster of High-tech industries attachesgreat importance for its powerful economic effect, innovation is the advantage of the High-techindustry cluster, it’s impossible to obtain continuous innovation without perfect innovationnetwork, while spin-off is a fundamental force to active the high-tech industry cluster. So, thestudy of the relationship between the two has important guiding significance to promote thehealthy development of high-tech industrial clusters. In presents, only small number of studiesin this area, the lack of theoretical research led to the backwardness of practice, it’s extremelyunfavorable for the promotion of spin-off and innovation network in high-tech industrialclusters.Based on the perspective of high-tech industry cluster, we first introduce the theorycomprehensively of spin-off and innovation network, summarize the structural characteristicsand causes of innovation network formation, then we analysis the characteristics of innovationnetwork in it’s formation, growth, mature and degradation stages, and the relationship withspin-off in the life cycle, lay a theoretical foundation for future practice analysis. Secondly, weraise the theoretical assumptions on how innovation network affect spin-off, we assume thatinnovation network has positive affect on spin-off’s performance and efficiency both on qualityand quantity, and construct the conceptual model of the affect relationship. Then, through thedata collection, we build a verification model of the relationship between innovation networkand spin-off with software of Statistical and Structural equation and obtain conclusions at last.Finally, for the problems in China’s high-tech industry cluster development, we propose waysand strategies to promote continued innovation capability of high-tech industrial clusters.I hope this study can be derived to promote spin-off and improve innovation networks,and thus promote the sustained and healthy development of the high-tech industry cluster. Ialso hope the analysis of this article useful for local governments on the regional developmentplanning and policy.
