Changes Of Chinese Auto Industry

As one of popular and frontier areas, evolutionary economics contribute a lot to perfect the viewpoints of Neoclassical synthesis. The biggest advantage is a dynamic evolutionary perspective to combine evolutionary economics and industrial organization theory. By adopting related concepts of biological evolutionary theory and emphasizing the non homogeneity, the diversity of individuals and interactions, it is helpful to understanding the dynamics and trends of industrial organization change.After China’s accession to the WTO, the auto industry is developing rapidly. However, compared with western countries, the auto industry in China still has suffered with high policy barriers, unreasonable industrial structure, weak technological innovation ability and the simple pattern of growth. Therefore, how to better optimize the organizational structure of the auto industry of China and promote the scientific development has become an important issue.This paper firstly combed the evolutionary economics thoughts origin and try to adopt he biology concept, such as "habit","selection","adaption" and "mutation", into analysis the industry organizations. Then, it introduces the standard NW model and summarizes the evolutionary characteristics of the auto industry of China from the aspect of empirical study. At last, analysis the outcome by comparing the Simulation calculation with the empirical study and give the advice on government policy.
