Since1990s, with the rapid development of Global trade, the trade pattern hasundergone a great change. In this process, China’s foreign trade developed rapidly, and thetotal amount of import and export has made a spurt of progress, the share of world tradecontinued to rise. It has been ranked as the second largest trading country in the world; Thecommodity structure of foreign trade is constantly optimizing and upgrading. Theindustrial manufactured goods occupy a dominant position in China’s exports. Afterentering the21th Century, in the industrial manufactured goods export, capital andtechnology-intensive products become China’s leading export products rather thanlabor-intensive products.In order to further the participation in the international division of labor, to masterinternational trade trends, and to realize its economic sustainable development and theoptimization and upgrading of the industrial structure, changing from trading power totrading superpower in the short term, we require a profound understanding of the spatialpattern of world trade is closely related with the changes.Based on the related theory of foreign trade, associating the traditional analysis ofmultiple factors and time series analysis, considering the structure (spatial structure)characteristics and regional economic "growth inertia" and other factors, play a panel datacharacteristics, to establish a comprehensive explanation and prediction model, focusing onthe internal relationship between China’s foreign trade and the development of the worldeconomy growth.This article combines the visible trade data of a certain coherence on trade policyfrom1990to2010. With the volume of world trade representative in the top20countriesand world economic geography plate as the basic spatial resolution, with changes in tradeand commodity structure factors of commodities, to reveal the variation characteristics offoreign trade pattern by making use of import and export aspects of a comprehensive,combine quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis. Based on the technique ofgeographic information system (GIS) and panel data (panel data) trend, it furthers prospectof mainland China’s foreign trade pattern. Accordingly, it puts forward to improve China’strade atmosphere, and promote the general countermeasures of sustainable growth offoreign trade.
