As a vital force in China’s national economy, SMEs are dynamic, innovative and also potential. In China, SMEs not only have a huge number, but also make great contributions to the GDP growth, the employment problem, the promotion of economic development, and promoting the progress of science and technology and maintaining social stability, thus playing an important role in the national economy. Enterprises can’t develop without funds. Funds are of great importance to the operation of enterprises. However, due to lack of funds, the SMEs face the fact that production and management problems often occur. It can be said that the "financing" difficulty has always been one of the "bottleneck" restricting the development of SMEs. Similarly, the increasing Chengdu SMEs have made tremendous contributions to Chengdu’s economy. Chengdu SMEs’development has a direct impact on the development of the whole of Chengdu. The article first summarized the current situation and existing problems of SME financing in China, providing a basic introduction of the financing situation of SMEs. Although SME financing environment continues to improve, SME financing remains difficult. This article is based on the "Chengdu SMEs financing status questionnaire". We use the samples to carry out field surveys, collation and analysis of the collected data. We also use the charts to display SMEs financing status of Chengdu with a more comprehensive understanding. We try to find out the reasons of SMEs financing difficulties, in the study of the statistical results. Combining of the nowadays research information and literature on the financing of small and medium enterprises, we come up with some possible solutions and finish writing the statute.Of course, the purpose of this article is not restricted to illustrating the SMEs of Chengdu. Chengdu is just a case that we choose to do investigation. The financing difficulty of SMEs is a widespread phenomenon. As part of SMEs in China, Chengdu’s SMEs, to some extent, are able to reflect the real situation of SME financing. The innovation of the article is that we hope to speak with survey data, from SME’s own point of departure to look at the financing of SMEs. The financing situation of SMEs in Chengdu brings factual basis for the financing situation of SMEs in China. We hope that through this case, the social community will pay greater attention to the financing problems of SMEs, and enable us to make some of our own ideas to solve the financing problem of SMEs, as a result improving the SMEs operating environment, and promoting the development of SMEs.
