Eighteen pointed out, we must strive to grow and develop the cultural industry, making it a pillar industry in China. Cultural and creative industries in our country started relatively late, but Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Jiangsu,Wuhan and other cities have achieved remarkable results by exploring development since several years, and then led other regions vigorously develop the cultural and creative industries, cultural and creative industries the development of a new type of competition between China’s urban forces. Chongqing cultural and creative industries have a good development platform, it grows fastly, but from the development of the current situation, its development is still subject to many obstacles facing severe challenges from all sides. Therefore, to promote the rapid development of cultural and creative industries in Chongqing, making its competitiveness in an invincible position in the fierce competition is adapt to times and history.In this thesis, theoretical explanations, combing the domestic and international cultural and creative industries connotation and extension of the research and analysis of the theoretical basis of the cultural and creative industries, from an economic point of view. Then compare the cultural and creative industries at home and abroad competitiveness evaluation system, through the analysis showed that the overall direction of the index system of cultural and creative reference herein. After this, the macro-level and micro-level, comprehensive use of mathematical statistics and specification analysis and other methods, analysis of Chongqing Cultural and Creative Industry development advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats, summed up the Chongqing area, cultural resources, cultural basis of facilities and policy and other aspects of the advantages with the development of cultural and creative industries.
