The Innovation And Development On Hangzhou Convention And Exhibition Industry:a Research Based Upon The Government-Market Relationship

The convention and exhibition industry is a main component of modern services. Due to its advantage of strong relevance with other industries, significant spillover effect, and great contribution to social and economic development of a city, it is considered to be a strategic industry in many countries and cities. As the convention and exhibition industry grows rapidly, the development pattern, especially the government’s role in the industrial management, varies from one city to another. Meanwhile, facing two conditions, balancing between the government and the market put forward by the3rd Plenary Session of the18th Central Committee, and the Eight-Point Code formulated by the central government, the convention and exhibition industry in Hangzhou or even throughout China has new opportunities and challenges.
