Research On The Interaction Between The Logistics Industry Cluster And The Wholesale And Retail Industry In Jiangsu Province

The developing trend of modern logistics industry in the world towardsintensification and coordination, developing the logistics industry cluster adapt to therequirement of the development of the international logistics industry. As the newform of industrial organization, the logistics industry cluster well adjusts the structureof relating industry and promotes the competitiveness of various industries of theregional economic. At the same time, it also led to the coordinated logistics industry’sdevelopment. As a derived industry, the logistics industry has a close associationbetween with the wholesale and retail industry. Wholesale and retail industry hasplayed a key role in the formation and development of the logistics industry cluster, atthe same time, the development of the logistics industry cluster also promotes thewholesale and retail industry’s progress. As the important role of the commercialcirculation, the logistics industry cluster and the wholesale and retail industry play animportant role in creating jobs, guiding production and stimulating consumption.Therefore, it is a very important practical significance to study the interaction betweenthem.This paper firstly discussed the concept and definition and forming factors andthe calculating method of the concentration degree of the logistics industry cluster,and tried to drawing a clear outline of logistics industry cluster for researchinglogistics industry cluster as the theoretical basis. On this basis, this paper mainlyanalyzes the mutual interaction process between the logistics industry cluster and thewholesale and retail industry, and this process is critical. First of all, from the role ofthe wholesale and retail industry in the logistics industry cluster’s evaluating process.Secondly，from the influence of logistics industry cluster progress to the wholesaleand retail industry.Finally, this paper detailed the present development situation and data of thelogistics industry cluster and the wholesale and retail industry in Jiangsu province.Through the analysis we found that the development of logistics industry was inbottleneck link obviously in the mutual interaction process between the logisticsindustry cluster and wholesale and retail industry, analyst the reason and put forwardthe corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for related issues.
