Sino-US bilateral trade between the two countries has become the fastest growing in the world’s bilateral economic and trade partners, one of the largest model of the two countries’ economic and even the world economy has had a major impact. According to Chinese statistics, in2010, the United States is China’s second largest trading partner, largest export trade target countries. According to U.S. statistics, in2010, China has become the second largest trading partner of the United States, the third largest export trade and import trading partner. The rapid development of Sino-US trade, along with issues such as trade imbalances and trade friction, so comprehensive, systematic analysis of the course of development of Sino-US trade, U.S. trade policy and trade development of the main problems and their causes, the impact and future trends, and on this basis, targeted some suggestions for the promotion of bilateral trade, healthy and stable development has important theoretical and practical significance. Therefore, this article mastered the basis of data on the way to the development of Sino-US trade research questions, theoretical analysis and empirical analysis method and other methods combined, comprehensive and systematic analysis of the development of Sino-US trade, This thesis is divided into seven chapters as following:Chapter1is an introduction. Summarized exposition and analysis of the theory of international trade relations, such as the balance of payments theory of elasticity, balance of payments theory and review of the literature demonstrates the topics of the background and significance, and on this basis, the basic idea of writing paper innovations.Chapter2is about the status quo of Sino-US trade imbalances and characteristics. Firstly, generalizes the evolution of Sino-US trade relations, and then from three aspects in detail elaborated the Sino-US trade imbalances, and make generalizations.From Chapter3to Chapter6, respectively, from the point of view of the exchange rate, unit labor cost of production point of view, the point of view of the national savings rate, and other elements of the perspective of the relationship of the various elements of the Sino-US trade imbalance, with a focus on exchange rates and labor costs an empirical test.Chapter7is the suggestions to promote Sino-US trade.
