Chinese Bio-pharmaceutical Industry Research Funding Problems

As an emerging high-tech industry in rapid development, many countries, especially developed countries have attached great importance to the development of the biological pharmaceutical industry. Biological pharmaceutical industry is a technology-intensive and capital-intensive industries combined. This industry requires high technology, has high investment risk, biological pharmaceutical enterprises demand very urgently for money, and then, how to solve the financing problem of the industry has become very important.Based on the unique characteristics of biological pharmaceutical enterprises, keeping an eye for recent research of the financing problem of domestic and foreign scholars, using statistical regression analysis method, I have studied the financing structure of the biopharmaceutical industry in china, and compared research financing financing situation of the biopharmaceutical industry in China and in those developed countries in Europe and America. Financing strategy of China’s pharmaceutical enterprises is discussed in this paper. The government, financial institutions, pharmaceutical enterprises, and even the whole society, have the responsibility and obligation to contribute their strength to improve the financing structure of the biopharmaceutical industry in China, so as to promote China’s economic development, social progress and people’s health.
